The tablet is fully charged next to the child – and yet they have been staring at the screen for hours.

The BrightBuilds Dinosaur Construction Set puts a battery-powered toy drill with a real forward-reverse switch into children's hands. They screw colorful screws into the pegboard, build flat dinosaur mosaics or standing 3D models – and in the end, they pack everything into the blue dino case. No screen, no passive watching, but something they built themselves and want to show off.

Benefits

  • No more lost pieces: All 211 parts plus drill, wrench, and screwdriver fit with a zipper into the dino case – after playing, nothing is left under the sofa or behind the cabinet.
  • Hours of engagement without repurchasing: With 211 parts and two play modes – 2D mosaics on the pegboard and standing 3D constructions – the set stays fresh for weeks without needing additional expansions.
  • No doubt whether the toy delivers on its promises: The drill really spins, the forward-reverse switch actually works – children screw in, turn around, and pull out just like with real tools, without parents needing to help.

Specifications

  • Number of parts: 211 parts
  • Drive: Battery-powered toy drill with forward/reverse switch
  • Batteries: 2 x AA (not included)
  • Play modes: 2D mosaics and standing 3D constructions
  • Storage: Blue dinosaur case with zipper, also serves as play mat
  • Recommended age: From 3 years (small parts, supervise under 3 years)
  • Included accessories: Toy drill, wrench, screwdriver, screws, nuts, pegs, plates, connectors

Usage

  1. Open up: Open the dino case and set it up as a play mat – the pegboard is ready to use immediately.
  2. Build: Either insert colorful pegs for a flat dinosaur mosaic or screw connectors and plates together to make a standing 3D figure.
  3. Store: Put all parts back into the case and zip it closed – ready for the next session at grandma’s or on the road.

Pro tip: Show the drill’s reverse gear first – children who see that they can unscrew screws again tend to rebuild their constructions much more often and stay engaged much longer.
